This stunning hammock was handmade in Tacaratu, state of Pernambuco, in the Northeast of Brazil. Inspiration to create this piece stems from the desire to experience the art of handloom in harmony with the environment. This hammock is made with cotton string and each one takes about a week to be completed. Handloom is a handicraft technique that helps weave cloth using a loom, a simple machine that dates back to the 13th century.
